Refugee Foster Care Orientation | Monday, 09. November 2020

Could you provide a long-term or temporary home to a refugee youth? Check out this orientation to learn how!

About this Event

Samaritas Refugee Foster Care has two programs working with refugee youth. Our long-term foster care program (in many areas throughout Lower Peninsula) finds foster families for older refugee children who are here without family. These foster families will provide care to them for a number of years, often becoming their unofficial family in the US. Our transitional foster care program, in Lansing and Ann Arbor, seeks foster homes that can temporarily care for young children, often for no more than 15-45 days, who are waiting to be united with family in the United States.

Register for an orientation to learn more about the need and what it takes to be a foster parent!

To attend, RSVP to (517) 321-7663 or email or on Eventbrite. Please be sure to RSVP so there will be enough materials and you can be informed in case of cancellations.
