Nolite Te Bastardes Carborundorum is a series of new works by Austin area multimedia artist, arts educator, and activist Jennie Tudor Gray.
Inspired by events both personal and political, Jennie created a series of altered art and prints using inspiration from Margaret Atwood's novel The Handmaid's Tale.
The title of the exhibit is actually gibberish Latin and roughly "translates" as "Don't let the bastards grind you down."
Proceeds from sales will help support Austin area youth artists.
Community art reception will include an artists trading card station where visitors can make and take a small business card sized artwork or take one of their liking.
There will also be postcard supplies available to mail to your representatives and senators about issues of your choosing. All supplies provided and donations welcome.
