Exmoor Ramble 2020 - Honouring a legend | Sunday, 04. October 2020

Ivan Huxtable has raised hundreds of thousands for charities, including the hospice, by organising the Exmoor Ramble for nearly 30 years. This year's event will be especially poignant as Ivan himself is now being cared for by the hospice, after receiving a diagnosis of terminal cancer.

Ivan, as well as his family and friends, hope that as many people as possible will take part in this year's Exmoor Ramble and make it an extra special occasion. For all of us at North Devon Hospice, we would love to see this be the busiest Exmoor Ramble yet, to honour a man who is a real legend and who has done so much to help others.

The Exmoor Ramble is always a fantastic day out. Ivan designs the route to include some of Exmoor's most hidden treasures, giving everyone a great chance to enjoy seeing the local wildlife, including majestic red deer.

This year's Exmoor Ramble is an 11-mile circular walk (although you can choose a shorter route on the day should you not feel up to that distance) which will start and finish at Brendon Two Gates. It will take place on Sunday 4th October, assuming it is safe to do so by that time.

Registration for the walk is FREE. Please sign up now at https://www.northdevonhospice.org.uk/support-us/events/exmoor-ramble/
