Branding Boot Camp
Branding Bootcamp introduces participants to best practices and ethical standards in the field of strategic communication. Learn to create and employ brand strategy to grow business, non-profit organization, or entrepreneurial endeavor. This three-session course will be hosted weekly with each session lasting 2 hours. In a symposium-style setting, the workshop features speed lectures and experiential project learning activities to help class members build a toolbox customized their needs. Bring a project/client to workshop, or engage in projects provided by instructor.
This 4-day course meets Tuesday-Friday from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. Course location will be provided before course begins.
Instructor Bio
Director of Community & Academic Enrichment at SUU, Melynda Thorpe offers more than 20 years’ experience working in the field of public relations, advertising and media production. Thorpe is founder of Emceesquare Media Inc, a southern Utah-based PR agency serving civic, business, education and arts/humanities clients since 2008. Emceesquare is known for creating the award-winning first Friday nightlife event, Georgefest, in Historic Downtown St. George.
