Art Over Dinner ft. B.A. Van Sise + AIR Serenbe | Gainey Hall | Sunday, 15. December 2019

Join us for an inspiring evening with photographer and AIR Serenbe resident B.A. Van Sise. B.A. has contributed to about every travel publication we can think of, along with significant projects ranging from being featured in international press to being added to permanent collections in museums.

About B.A.: 
A frequent contributor to the Village Voice and Buzzfeed, B.A. Van Sise is also one of the world's busiest travel photographers. In addition to his roles as Nikon/AFAR travel photography ambassador and travel photography workshop instructor for Atlas Obscura, Van Sise has been a staffer for Newsday and AOL CityGuide, has been featured on both the cover of the New York Times, on PBS NewsHour, the Daily Mail, and on NPR.  A number of his portraits of notable American poets are in the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery of the Smithsonian.
 His work as both a photographer and author has been widely published. In addition to exhibitions at the Center for Creative Photography, the Peabody Essex Museum, the Museum of Jewish Heritage, the Los Angeles Center of Photography, and the Whitney Museum of American Art, his work has previously appeared in the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, the Daily Mirror of London, Travel + Leisure, Arthur Frommer's Travel Guides, New York Magazine, Time Out New York, the Orlando Sun-Sentinel, and approximately 250 other publications,   His wedding work has earned him Editors' Choice Award three years in a row from Two Bright Lights, as well as The Knot's Photographer of the Year. He is a graduate of the prestigious Eddie Adams Workshop and a National Press Photographer's Association award-winner.   
He holds one degree from Fordham University for Visual Arts and another for Modern Languages: a polyglot, he is fluent or conversational in English, Italian, Spanish, French, German and Russian.
