Mum & Baby Postnatal classes (online) | Tuesday, 21. July 2020

A nurturing and supportive online group for mums / the gestational parent and their young babies from around 6 weeks up to crawling age. These classes encourage meaningful interaction, play and bonding with your baby and they’re also a great way to meet other new parents!

Classes include -

* Baby massage - simple massage strokes to help soothe and comfort your baby and support their growing body. This is done with the baby fully clothed.

* Gentle yoga based postnatal exercises - to restore strength and tone to your body to aid postnatal recovery and help relieve aches and tension. These can be done either with your baby or with baby close to you.

* Relaxation and breathing - for well being and a sense of calm

* Parenting support - a supportive and friendly atmosphere where you can talk about any concerns.

This is a relaxed and informal class so don't worry if your baby needs to feed or sleep during the session. Take time out with your baby when you need to and join back in when you’re ready.

You'll need a yoga / exercise mat unless your floor is carpeted, cushion or pillow (for you) and a blanket (for baby to lie on), wear loose or stretchy clothes that don't restrict your movement and dress baby in soft unrestrictive clothing. It is also preferable to have short (ish) nails for the baby massage.

When: Tuesday mornings 10 - 11.15 am in your home, starting 21st July for a 5 week block. Dates are 21st, 28th July, 4th, 11th and 18th August. The sessions will be run online via zoom.

Price: £35 for the block. If baby isn’t old enough to start on the 21st July you can start part way through the term if there’s space - please check with me - and pay from when you start (eg if baby is old enough to start on the 28th July the price is £28).

The price reduction only applies when baby is too young to start on the 21st July. Missed classes can’t be carried over or refunded but if I have enough demand to run a second postnatal class during the same block period there is the option of making up a missed session there.
