An introduction to Lego Therapy | | Monday, 08. June 2020

Do you have students who struggle with interacting?
Do you need a fun new way of teaching social skills and assertiveness?

Our training delivered by experienced Speech and Language Therapists will help you:

To be confident in being able to facilitate and assess a Lego Therapy Group

To be confident in setting appropriate targets and measuring progress after a block of therapy.

We use a combination of coaching and practical activities and will direct you to resources (both paid and free) throughout the afternoon.

Any educational professionals working with children who have SLCN or access pastoral support in:

Early Years Foundation Settings

Primary schools

Secondary schools

This includes: Class Teachers, Teaching Assistants, SENCo's.

This course will be presented by Speech and Language Therapists, who has a specialist interest in supporting children with Language difficulty. We have a wide range of experience in supporting children with language difficulty in mainstream schools across Manchester. We are passionate about increasing awareness of the long-term impact of Language difficulty and training parents and educational staff to have a positive impact on the lives of children and young people with Language Difficulty.
