Make & Take Game Night - Hooper or Kaysville | | Tuesday, 12. November 2019

Do you want to increase classroom engagement while reviewing a Reading Horizons skill? Are you looking for a way to help your students build additional automaticity? Or, do you simply want to disguise student learning as fun? Then you will want to mark the date for this free Reading Horizons professional development event on your calendar.
We’ll start by making a few Reading Horizons games (all materials will be provided for free), and then the fun - we’ll play them. All winners will earn a prize! Please bring a pair of scissors to make the games for your classroom. This is a great opportunity to learn how to help students gain greater automaticity with rapid recognition and decoding.
This event will not focus on the Reading Horizons method itself, but on ways to use games to support the instruction of the Reading Horizons Method.  As such, it is intended for educators who are currently instructing or supporting the Reading Horizons program.
Refreshments will be served.
