Thoresby Park, Nottinghamshire, Spring Wild Food Foraging Course Walk | | Saturday, 11. April 2020

The picturesque Thorseby Park offers a tranquil and diverse setting to discover wild food. The estate include woodland, parkland, meadows and riversides to learn about the edible plants and mushrooms growing in the UK. This foraging course walk is easy to reach from Nottingham, Mansfield, Newark, Sheffield, Doncaster, Lincoln, Leicester, Chesterfield, Worksop, Retford, Grantham, and Derby.
In this historic park, you'll discover how to identify some commonly growing foods to forage for, how to avoid poisonous lookalikes, and hints on where to look. When we meet up, we will go through the basics of foraging before heading out to discover the edibles in the area.

Participants must be aged 18 or over - sorry, no babes in arms
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted on the course
