German-American Friendship Fest | First Congregational Church | Saturday, 06. October 2018

Bring your whole family to celebrate German Language and Culture at this family-friendly event! Registration begins at 10:00 AM and activities begin at 10:15 AM.  Ticketed children (Ages 4-12 yrs) will learn German Games, Music, Dance, and Crafts from local German students and organizations.  All registered children will be treated to an authentic German meal that is sure to please and take home a hand-made craft. 
Parents and friends are welcome to enjoy traditional German Music and delicious food will also be on sale while children explore and learn. Parents and friends are admitted free with registered children and can join the festivities.  Parents and friends, please purchase a meal ticket ($7.50) to ensure that enough food is prepared.  Food will also be available for sale onsite, while supplies last. Please support our local exchange students and visit our Silent Auction for fantastic prizes.  All event proceeds support local families' efforts to send their students to Karlsruhe, Germany for a GAPP Exchange.

All Ticket sales are nonrefundable.
Each ticketed child will receive:


One plated German meal and beverage


One 90-Minute, Interactive German Language, and Cultural lesson


One craft to take home


FAQs
Will alcoholic beverages be available at the event?
No alcohol of any kind will be sold or permitted on the premise before, during, or after the event.  Persons found to have or consume alcohol will be asked to leave and local authorities will be notified. 
What's the refund policy?
All sales are final and go to support local GAPP Exchange students.  
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Confirmation of ticket should be brought to the event but parents do not have to print out tickets to the event.  Parents may present the ticket with a smartphone or other digital device. 
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
On the day of the event, you may transfer your ticket to another child at the registration table.  There will be no extra charge for transferring tickets.  
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
The name on the ticket does not have to match the person who attends.  Simply register at the main table and notify event personnel of the transfer.
