Crisis Intervention Team Academy for Law Enforcement | Sacred Heart University | Monday, 13. July 2020

PLEASE NOTE: This academy is limited to federal, state and local law enforcement, other public safety personnel and clinical members of state-funded mobile crisis teams.

This 40-hour training provides practical knowledge and critical skills to assist law enforcement officers and other public safety personnel who encounter people in emotional/psychiatric in their communities. In addition to learning critical de-escalation skills, officers learn how to connect people in crisis with community-based, state-funded mental health resources instead of arrest when appropriate.
Class times are 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM unless otherwise indicated
Changes to Location or Dates will be posted on www.cableweb.org and emailed to participants approximately one week prior to the class.
