Shrimper Sunday Lunch at The Meudon Hotel | Sunday, 25. October 2020

We hope you will join us for lunch on 27th September 2020 @ 12.30pm for 1pm lunch at the MEUDON HOTEL, Bream Cove, Mawnan Smith, Falmouth TR11 5HT



The Hotel has asked us to pre-choose our menu choices and Cookie Phipps, who is organising this event has, asked if you could let her know by email your attendance and menu and dietary choices a week in advance. STARTERS



Leek and Potato Soup with Walnut Bread

Smoked Salmon, poached Egg, Dill Hollandaise

Burnt Avocado, Grape and walnut salad, Lemon and Chive dressing



MAIN COURSE



Roast Sirloin of Beef, Yorkshire pudding and trimmings

Stuffed Roast Port, crackling and trimmings

Plaice Fillet, crushed new potatoes and lemon beurre Blanc

Roasted Beetroot, Feta and Fennel Tart with red Pepper and garlic dressing

All served with seasonal vegetables and potatoes



DESSERT

White Chocolate Mouse – poached strawberries

Toffee Apple crumble with Crème Anglaise

Selection of Ice Cream

Cornish Cheese, Biscuits and chutney

For those of you who want to make a special occasion of this, or who are travelling from afar, might like to take advantage of the Meudon Hotel’s offer for B & B in a Valley Room for £150 for 2. The hotel is in very special place with its own private gardens going down the vale to the beach. Again please could you let Cookie know by 20th March.
