The Houston Forensic Science Center (HFSC) will be hosting its first-ever Explorer program this year. The HFSC Explorer program will give students an introduction to forensic science and some of the disciplines that fall under that umbrella. Each monthly class will involve a short lecture and a hands-on activity to learn what forensic scientists do in a crime lab. The culmination of the program will be a mock crime scene where students will put everything they learned into action.
Our program is open to young men and women who will be high school seniors for the 2018-2019 school year and are interested in the field of science as a career. These are the five areas of emphasis our team of analysts will help the students hone in on:
