Taste of Blacksmithing - Hook | Lansing Makers Network | Saturday, 19. January 2019

Have you always wanted to try your hand at blacksmithing? Come, join us for this 3-hour workshop, where you'll learn how to taper, bend, and twist steel as you forge an attractive j-hook (suitable for mounting on a wall). No previous experience necessary, we'll show you everything it takes to make! Class size is limited to 7 participants to ensure everyone receives one on one instruction.
Note: Additional class policies can be found on our website:
What should I wear or bring to the class?
Please wear work boots or shoes made from leather or canvas (no nylon, it melts!). Wear natural fiber clothing (cotton is best). Safety glasses are required and will be provided, but if you have a pair you're comfortable in, consider bringing your own.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
This workshop is only for those 16+.  (Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an *****)

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
