Volunteer Processing Site Workday | NYC Compost Project Hosted by Big Reuse, Compost Processing Site | Wednesday, 18. July 2018

Join us at a Volunteer Compost Workday with the New York City Compost Project Hosted by Big Reuse under the Queensboro Bridge.  Please bring your own water bottle (refills available) and dress in clothes you dont mind getting dirty (closed toed shoes a must!) We will be bagging compost for distribution and other site maintanince duties.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
18 and over.
 
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
 Queensbridge Park Composting Site:
Take the F train to 21st Street - Queensbridge. Exit the train and walk South on 21st street, under the highway, to Queens Plaza South. Take a right, and walk West 4 blocks to Vernon Ave. The entrance to the composting area is at the corner of Queens Plaza South and Vernon Ave., directly under the bridge and across from the Ravel hotel.
 
What can I bring into the event?
Bring your positive vibes, reusable water bottle, dress in clothes you dont mind getting dirty and wear closed toe shoes.
