Honey is a matchmaking service for POC seeking and hoping to attract love, romance, and/or fun and adventure with other POC. With the intention of holding connection, relationships, and love as sacred and empowering, Honey seeks to provide an experience that supports folks in feeling confident and being their authentic selves, as they pursue relationships. In addition to the opportunity to meet and interact with potential dates/partners, Honey dating events offer space for personal reflection, education & strategy, as well as potential reparative experiences and community building. Facilitated by a Psychologist and an Educational Ethnographer, Honey is a service aimed towards those who want to have a good time and also find meaning and get to know themselves better in the process. See offerings below.
Offerings:

Personalized Hand-Selected Matches. Our Honey certified matchmakers create a dating experience personalized just for you. You are guaranteed four 1-on-1 dates with individuals selected for you based on the Honey questionnaire.

Education and Strategy (Facts & Tips): Honey matchmakers understand that putting yourself out there can feel overwhelming, frustrating, and requires a lot of effort. We hope to make this process easier and more enjoyable for you by providing information and strategies about clear communication, active listening, relationship statistics and other topics.

Reflection, Healing, and Community Building: This service centers the unique experiences of people of color, which include complex histories, intersections of identities and interpersonal dynamics, and internalized attitudes and beliefs. At each Honey dating event, there is time designated to unpack and discuss topics that impact our ability to build and maintain healthy, sustainable, and loving relationships with each other.

A Good Time!: At the end of the day, we want y’all to have fun! If you don’t leave having met the person of your dreams, we hope you leave with a new friend, some new insights, and feeling lifted.

*Dress Code: Wear what makes you feel comfortable, confident, and attractive!
*There will be food as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase.
