Manchester: 'Coping with Family Estrangement at Christmas' therapeutic workshop for ***** children estranged from parents or siblings | Manchester | Saturday, 15. December 2018

The festive season and its build up can be very isolating, upsetting and frustrating for those who are estranged from their family or a key family member.
This workshop is designed to help you to cope with the festive season and meet others who are in a similar situation - sharing thoughts and feelings about what family estrangement means for you at this time of the year. It will also help you to form mechanisms for supporting yourself, and to generate potential connections with others in your locality.
Although this workshop is a one-off event it is also the way to access our 6-session support groups which will be starting in Jan 2019. Attending this workshop does not mean automatic access to the following support group. This is something we will explore with you on a case by case basis to find the right support option for you.
We are running separate groups for those who are estranged from their parents or siblings, and those who are estranged from a child.
