This show provides an exhibition opportunity for artists in the coastal Carolinas.
We welcome both established and emerging artists.
William H. Miller Gallery is proud to partner with Artspace 506 and is pleased to announce the Fourth Annual Small Works Show, a special holiday show featuring works of art by established and emerging artists of the coastal Carolinas. The show opens November 14 and continues through November 25, 2017.
With this annual event William H. Miller Gallery and Artspace 506 provides an exhibition opportunity for local artists and offers opportunities for our patrons to purchase original works of art when people are buying holiday gifts.
The Small Works Show each year features dozens of artists and includes works in every imaginable media. Two-dimensional, three-dimensional and electronic works are included. No work exceeds 12” in any dimension.
Entries will be accepted November 11th, 2017 - 11am-6pm and must be hand-delivered to the gallery at 714 Main Street, Myrtle Beach, SC.
Limit two works per artist. All work must be wired and ready to hang, framed no larger than 12"x12"(x12" if 3d), no sawtooth hangers. Gallery will reserves the right to reject any work that does not meet these professional standards. $10 per entry, limit two per artist, 80/20 split with gallery if it sells. Works NFS $30 entry fee. Work must have been created in the last two years and can not have been shown previously at small works show.

Tommy Davis will serve as Judge for this year’s exhibition. Tommy Davis is the owner at the Collector’s Cafe in Myrtle Beach, SC. A local artist in his own right, he has shown his work in ArtFields in addition to his own gallery at the cafe. Mr. Davis’s selections will be awarded cash prizes. The First Place Award is $300, Second Place $200, Third Place $100 and three Honorable Mention Awards are $75 each. There will also be a “People’s Choice” cash award of $200 that will be decided by the voting of viewers at the gallery.
An opening reception is scheduled for Friday, November 17, 2017 from 6-8 p.m.
The opening reception and exhibit are free and open to the public. William H. Miller Gallery is located at 714 Main Street, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, 29577. The gallery is open Monday - Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
