Fa la la la Festive Caroling for a Cause! | Bryant Park | Sunday, 10. December 2017

Hey friends! I'm excited to get this group going this year- starting small with one inaugural meetup and will hopefully add a second date for this December depending on how this goes and the availability of those interested! I know this time of year is crazy and there is so much to do, see, and enjoy in this lovely city of ours, so I'm very grateful for every person that joins in.

So it's that magical time of year again where the weather gets cold and we get warm and fuzzy! What better way to celebrate then with some caroling? I'm hoping that with our voices combined and some goodwill that we can raise a little money for the American Red Cross, which has been doing incredible work this year to provide aid to those affected by Hurricanes Maria, Harvey, and Irma as well as the earthquakes that shook Mexico in September. We are so lucky to be safe and healthy this holiday season, so I hope we can do a little something to help share that spirit with those who need it most this year.

I'm hoping that this group will include some of my more musical friends who might be comfortable improvising parts to well known holiday tunes as well as reading sheet music to round things out. If you don't consider yourself very musical, have no fear- your voice is welcome and valuable just the way it is. Just show up. <3 If you can make it and plan on coming, please MESSAGE ME if there are any songs you particularly want us to sing and I will do my best to formulate a game plan around that,

After we sing we can grab a **** to eat in the park and chill out for a while. I have to leave for work at 3, but if you want to stay and sing for longer I will not be offended!

Stay warm, stay healthy, and stay hydrated! Hope to see you Sunday.

PS- I had to hum "Deck the Halls" an embarrassing number of times to make sure I was using the proper number of "la's" for the event title. Such is "Fa la la la la la la la- life".
