June BIPOC Psychedelic Integration Circle: Guided Discussion | Sunday, 14. June 2020
About this Event
This gathering is for People of Color who have had a psychedelic experience in the past. We hold BIPOC Integration Circles twice a month with one open discussion format, and one guided.
This circle will be with guided discussion. Topic is TBA.
This circle will open with introductions and intention setting led by The Sabina Project co-creators. We will then discuss and set group norms, talk about the importance of integration, and open the circle for sharing. We will close with a short guided group meditation.
The purpose of a psychedelic integration circle is to create a safe space for people to talk about non-ordinary states of consciousness and offer emotional support, educational information, and harm reduction strategies to individuals who use psychedelic and entheogenic substances.
The Sabina Project recognizes that historically, psychedelic and consciousness expanding communities are overwhelmingly White. We are committed to carving out space for melanated journeyers of all backgrounds to integrate powerful experiences into their everyday lives for radical personal + communal transformation. This circle will be led by Dre Wright and Charlotte James, co-founders of The Sabina Project.
This event is donation based. Please consider making a donation to help us grow! We happily accept donations from White allies. Please respect that this is a safe space for POC. All other Sabina Projects events are open to all folx. Thank you.
Access link and password will be sent 24 hours prior to circle.
