About this Event
In the wake of this pandemic, we are offering a Covid-19 Therapeutic Trauma Informed Creative Cleansing Colors Art Program which allows participants to express their personal past or current traumatic experiences/events. Traumatic events are considered unforeseen incidents that cause psychological, physical or emotional harm. This Covid-19 Trauma Informed Art program is designed to help participants articulate and express their hurt, pain, grief, loss, confusion, sadness, sickness, family turmoil or dynamic, abuse, relationships or alike through Art. Covid-19 We use art coupled with cognitive therapy and behavioral modification as an intervention tool to heal the mind and restore the heart. Age group are from 8 years old and older. Light refreshments will be served as well as all art supplies will be provided including a smock, and canvas. All participants agree to adhere to the CDC’s Covid-19 guidelines upon registering. If participants do not have a mask, one will be provided.
