Wellness Wednesdays Cooking Demo & Conversations | West catholic High School | Wednesday, 11. December 2019

Welcome to Wellness Wednesdays
The Holidays are a time to be merry but it can also be a time of stress and may trigger not so blissful emotions.  The Netter Center & West Catholic  present Wellness Wednesdays during the Months of November & December.
Join The Netter Center for Community Partnerships &  21st century after school Inititaive monthly & be deliberate in taking a moment to take care of your best asset - YOU.
Tyra Gardner,  is partnering with us (for a 3rd year) to bring her brand of "NotsoPsychotherapist." Tyra brings reality based approaches to deal with real life situations. This month we will explore self- care with seasonal health tips and identify foods, to help you settle into the stillness and calm of winter.  Ambrosia Kitchens' Culinary Educators will lead us with fun and knowledgable cooking demonstrations using "Happy Foods & Spices".
We will have a class/demo to accompany the conversation and talk led by Dr. Tyra Gardner.  We will focus on HAPPY and grounding foods.  The Class will take place inside of West Catholics kitchen.
Each class includes all class materials, unlimited sampling, use of an official chef's apron for the duration of the class, light refreshments, and big smiles.
There is a free parking lot available with an entrance on 46th street. There is also street parking on Chestnut. The High School is accessible by SEPTA.

The Kitchen is located on the 3rd floor. Let us know if you need special accommodations otherwise, take the stairs to the 3rd floor. Students will be standing and cooking most of the classroom time.
