  • Was very disappointed with this event!!!! Went on a tuesday night, got there at 515pm. I took friends who have never been before and talked the event up as I loved coming to zoo lights, seeing the animals and the awesome train ride. However this year was a HUGE let down!! Tons of the lights weren't working, not a single animal was out to see, the restaurant was well over an hour wait for 4 people, the food carts was a 40 min line and the train was embarrassing. It's the 30th year and thought it would be special. Honestly not sure when or if I'll come back for zoo lights
  • Soooooooo disappointed in my experience or lack of at ZooLights. We bought tickets on line for Thursday, Dec 7th. Pulled in at 5:30 and ZERO parking available. We drove around for almost 30 min looking. Dropped off my daughter and grandson, drove back to Sunset max, got on the train only to have the train delayed. Sat there for 30 min before we got off. I missed my grandsons first experience with Zoo Lights and am out 2 ***** tickets and 2 train tickets. The parking is absolutely horrible.

  • I attended the preview with my family on Wednesday. The weather and the lights were BEAUTIFUL. We had an opportunity to arrive by 415 and I have to recommend an early arrival to other attendees, too. The lot was a madhouse by the time we left at 6. There were plenty of food options and covered spaces to sit. Santa and other holiday guests were there for the kids. I highly recommend this event!
