Ops21 Awareness Workshop: Digital Manufacturing Presented by RIT COE-ASM | Long Island City Partnership | Wednesday, 01. August 2018

Through Ops21, a Futureworks NYC  program backed by NYCEDC,led by ITAC, and cohosted and sponsored by Long Island City Partnership, we will be hosting 24 advanced technology workshops across three topic areas: advanced materials, digital manufacturing, and robotics.
This is a Digital Manufacturing Awareness Workshop, which is intended to increase your general understanding of digital manufacturing technologies (e.g. sensors, data analytics, IoT, process simulation, electronic work instructions, etc.) so that you can better identify which technologies may be most relevant to your company.
This workshop will be presented by Rochester Institute of Technology's Center of Excellence for Advanced and Sustainable Manufacturing (RIT COE-ASM) and is specifically for manufacturers that are operating within the five boroughs of NYC. It will be hosted at Long Island City Partnership (LICP) in Long Island City, Queens.

About Digital Manufacturing:
Digital Manufacturing is the use of digital tools to collect and analyze data to improve tool design, product design, or manufacturing operations.
