Girls Gone Glamping 2020 | Sandy River Outdoor Adventure | Friday, 31. July 2020


The 2nd Annual Girls Gone Glamping Weekend Getaway will be held on National Girlfriends Weekend July 31-Aug 3 at the Sandy River Outdoor Adventure Park in Farmville, VA.

This all-inclusive weekend is curated with experiences for the girlie girl who wants to step outside of their comfort zone, meet new people, try new things, go unique places, conquer fears, have some breakthroughs, be empowered, eat great food, have fresh ideas, feel inspired and most definitely have lots of fun even if you have to come alone! Some of you will come as strangers and leave as family!


The total cost is $599 for this all-inclusive weekend but for the GLAMP Squad who went to the 2018 weekend it's $499!

$49 Non-Refundable or Transferrable Deposit is due by August 5th at 7AM to secure your spot. It goes up to $99 non- refundable or transferrable deposit after Monday, August 5th at 7AM. Sorry, I can't hold any slots for later pays. $49 Secures your spot!

If you are paying for someone else you will need to write their names in. Please also know your name listed on your paypal account or your personal account so we can ensure you are credited correctly for your payment.

***Remember your deposit is non-refundable or transferrable. The replacement guest will pay the same $49 non-refundable or transferrable deposit + any payments to bring them current with all other attendees. ****

***Payments are due by the 5th of EVERY MONTH! You will be sent an automatic invoice monthly that's due on or before the 5th. Any payments made after the 5th of each month will incur a $2/day late fee. Payment reminders will be sent via email.

What's the refund policy?


(NRFD= Non Refundable Deposit)

August 3, 2019- April 5th 2020

100% Refund of payments made after NRFD

April 6, 2020-May 5, 2020

75% Refund of payments made after NRFD

May 6, 2020-July 15, 2020

50% Refund of payments made after NRFD

July 16, 2020- July 30, 2020

25% Refund of payments made after NRFD

Allow 2 weeks to process any refunds.

What can I bring into the event?

Your Casual Glamping Clothes such as leggings, tees, maxi dresses, capris, gym pants, shorts, gym shoes, flip flops or flat sandals etc.. and Jammies. Leave the stilettos at home:-) 

1 Bottle of your FAVORITE wine! Don't bring nothing you don't love or would not drink. Put some thought into it. Top 3 best voted Wines will win a prize. 

Every girlie girl loves to get a gift from time to time, any time or all the time! So let's do just that! Bring 1 wrapped girlie gift for the "GET IT GIRL Gift Exchange" Must be a $10-25 value gift and not a gift card. Give the gift you would want to receive because you just may get around to getting it!

In the spirit of always giving back bring one item for a child to be donated to Mission From The Heart which was founded by our own Glamper Shelby Brown McDowney (She will post a list of items needed)

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Must be 21 and over due 
Can you come alone?
Absolutely! You may come alone but you will NEVER be alone! You are family once you register! You will meet some amazing women during this weekend! You don't need a crew just YOU! That's the first step of stepping out of your comfort zone! YOU GOT THIS! 
Will I have to share a bed?
Depends on how many people are in your cabin? Based off the order in which you book your bed assignment will be done.  If you and a friend want to share a room/bed you can denote that on your Glamping Preliminary Profile that will be sent when all the registration is completed. You can also bring an airbed if you choose but the price does not change. 
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
It is best to carpool. Meet up with other glampers at the Walmart Parking Lot at the far end of Hull Street. The drive is about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Balloons will be set out near the road so you know where to turn.  
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No printed ticket required
Can I update my registration information?
Yes. A detail profile form will be emailed to everyone 2 months prior to the event. This helps us to know your allergies, food preference, emergency contact information etc..
