Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children: Overview and Complexities of the Issue | Thursday, 28. May 2020


In partnership with Safe & Sound, Huckleberry Youth Programs, and Human Services Agency of San Francisco, this trauma-informed training is designed to help providers to better understand their role when supporting youth experiencing commercial sexual exploitation (CSEC).

Learning Objectives: Participants will:

- Understand definitions, vulnerabilities, and potential signs of commercial sexual exploitation

- Learn the Mandated Reporter responsibilities related to the issue of CSEC

- Understand trauma-informed ways to engage and support youth and their families

- Learn how to refer children and families to services Who should Participate: Anyone who is interested in gaining more knowledge about the CSEC population and how to support CSEC youth through a trauma-informed approach. FAQs:
