This project explores the mysterious lives of dances: how they are created and shaped by the spaces wherein they exist, how dancers breathe life into the work, and the ways in which dance can be archived. This project features choreography by Melissa West that spans from 2009 to 2019, and investigates how dance can be transmitted between choreographer, dancer, and audience.

This project is made is possible (in part) by a DCA Art Fund Grant from Staten Island Arts, with public funding from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
