How Women Lead in the Boardroom | Aspiration Dome | Wednesday, 16. October 2019

Join Silicon Valley's top leaders for an interactive discussion on getting more women on corporate boards, current research trends and recent legislation.
The passing of SB826 by Governor Jerry Brown now requires public companies to have women on their boards, and the number escalates over time. The asset management firms have taken a stand requiring documented diversification plans and actions, and they are standing behind this requirement by not voting on officer slates.
Over 150 board seats are estimated to open up for women under the new legislation. Network with other leaders, hear more about board director roles that are open, and learn about the actions you can take to continue pushing the national needle for diversity on boards.
