2017 Uniontown River Days & Independence Day Celebration | Uniontown, Kentucky | Saturday, 08. July 2017

Union County Fire Dept and Uniontown City Fire Dept will be hosting the 2017 Uniontown River Days & Independence Day Celebration. Events will take place downtown on Main St on July 8th.
Pageants will begin at 9am. Parade will start at Noon. Fireworks provided by City of Uniontown and local businesses will begin at Dusk. Come join us for food, games, and fun all day!

  • Anyone interested in setting up a booth needs to contact Jeremy Millikan at 270-952-5025. Booth space applications will be available at Uniontown City Hall. Price is $25 per 10 foot space for non-food items like crafts or games. Price is $50 per 10 foot space for any food items. Water and electricity can be provided for a small fee as well. (Non-profit and volunteer organizations may have fee waived- contact Jeremy for further)
  • We will have Giant Hampster Ball Bowling for the kids from 1pm until 6pm!
  • The Parade will begin at Noon on Saturday. Line up at the ballpark at 11:30. Please contact Josh Millikan at 270-997-1141 if interested in putting a float or vehicle in the Parade. *Parade route will be from Ballpark Road down Mill St (KY130) to the caution light. Turn right at the caution light onto 3rd St (KY360). Following 3rd St through town to Upper Main. (You can turn off Upper Main onto 5th St behind the grain bins to head back to the park or continue on 360 out of town.)
  • River View Coal will be sponsoring a giant water slide inflatable this year. Scheduled times as of right now are from 2pm until 6pm. Don't forget to bring towels and/or dry clothes.
  • The sign up applications for the Baby Contest, Little Mister and Miss, Princess,Teen, and Miss River Days are now available at Floyds Supermarket. The theme for all pageants will be Independence Day - Red, White, and Blue. For questions contact Erica Byrd at 270-952-0731.
