Noir Nights presents "In A Lonely Place" | The Kiggins Theatre | Monday, 08. January 2018

Join the Kiggins Theatre and our friends at Niche Wine Bar as we continue our Noir Nights film series pairing film noir classics with a pre-show tasting featuring three wines influenced by the films!

Niche proprietor Leah Jackson will be on hand from 6:30pm to 7:30pm to discuss the wines which will also be able to be purchase by the glass for your movie watching pleasure (and by the bottle as you leave).

Tickets to individual films are $10 and include a collectible ticket. The tasting for the three wines is $5.

Our next **** of films features the epitome of noir tough guys, the legendary Humphrey Bogart, paired with some of the era’s great directors!

We wrap our Bogart edition of Noir Nights on January 8th with the Nicholas Ray classic IN A LONELY PLACE.

Bogart plays a talented but washed-up screenwriter with a temper who becomes the prime suspect in a brutal Tinseltown murder, and Gloria Grahame is the woman with a past who is the only person who can supply an alibi for him. Based loosely on Dorothy B. Hughes thriller, PLACE is a turbulent mix of suspenseful noir and devastating melodrama, fueled by powerhouse performances. Considered one of the best films of the 1950s and cemented Nicholas Ray as one of Hollywood’s greatest auteurs
