March For Our Lives – DC Official | The Mall (Washington DC) | Saturday, 24. March 2018

This is the official event page for the DC march. Please check back for updates.
  • I just read that the March can't be on the Mall after all - that another group had already reserved it for 3/24. Do we know yet where the new location will be? Thanks!
  • Hey, google maps labels this location the National Mall -- so it might be easier for folks to navigate to it if you put "National" in the location title for this event. Just a suggestion! (And thanks for your work!)
  • Especially if you are a PRIME member of Amazon jeff@amazon.com They (CEO Jeff Bezos) support NRA TV!!!!!
  • Let's hope they do something
  • The Washington National Cathedral will hold an interfaith prayer vigil the night before the march, from 7-9 pm. The Episcopal Diocese of Washington is actively encouraging congregations and parishioners to support the march and the marchers.
  • Is the March gonna be in any other cities?
  • A good tip that worked well for many who came for the Women's March: you can but a Metro SmarTrip card online and have it mailed to your house before you come, so you don't have to stand in line to buy one or add value when the stations are crowded on march day. The $10 option (card with $8 stored value), which works on rail and bus, will get you to and from the march on the day and then some, and value can be added if you're staying longer. Please share wth friends who are coming from out of town.
  • Is there a group going from ATL? I know we have one locally. I am interested if there is a group going to DC.
  • For those of you who are looking for ways to contribute to this cause without having to leave the couch or donate money: Continue pressuring the companies that support the NRA to stop, and praise the ones that believe in our cause. We need as much support as we can get!! Looking forward to seeing you all in a month!
  • Does anyone know if the metro has an app for your card? That way we’re not carrying a card around I would rather have it on my phone
  • For those who want to go to the March but are finding it difficult to find a hotel, contact Fairfax County Democratic Committee. They have a list of people who will open their homes.
  • Is there one of the leaders i can contact? Or message? Thanks@@

  • Hi. Please update us on any scheduling conflicts in DC. I’ve made travel arrangements to attend and need to know. Thank you
  • Something needs to be done and done now
  • Here are the contact information for FedEx. They're so far refusing to cut ties. We must pressure them to do the right thing!
  • Get your metro cards now out-of-staters!!!! Metro is definitely going to be packed, make sure they’re loaded!!!
  • Interested in being a marshal or captain as needed for the march, have experience with Women's March and March for Science. I signed up on the website. Looking forward to a successful march and NEEDED GUN LAW CHANGES.
  • Did you guys hear about the foild school shooting in new jersey today. This copycat stuff needs to stop.
  • Guys if you are coming to this march with your school wear your school colors or school t-shirts. It would be nice to see where each group is from. This march is about us kids. We are doing what the adults could not do.
  • Welcome to my studio apartment in DC. Willing to host students/parents visiting DC for the March on March 24th. I live in downtown DC. I will be honored to host students/parents/supporters who will walk along with the most courageous and hopeful people I have ever known. As a father of 2 boys, I feel like so inspired and can't wait to walk along the thousands of amazing people in DC. I've hosted students/supporters for Science March, Women's March, Tax March and Equality March. Happy to do so again. Connect with me directly. Thanks. P.S.: It's a studio apartment, but I can accommodate about 2-3 guests. No charge. I do have a cat, FYI. The apartment is located close to DuPont Circle in DC, and convenient to get to Metro station, restaurants, monuments, museums, and the zoo.
  • We are Marching for our lives, March 24th DC
  • Can’t wait to march with all these amazing ppl fighting to keep our country safe.
  • Here's where I'm at. I don't know what the right answer is to gun violence. I don't know if it's broader gun control laws, or more effective background checks, or the elimination of some or all guns, or something else entirely. But I do know this. You have the right, and the responsibility, to make your voice heard. And if you're coming to DC for the march, you've got a place to stay with us. My family and I have hosted people for previous marches in DC and are willing to do so again. (The last one was the Women's March.) If you would like a place to crash please PM me. We live in Silver Spring, close to a bus route, and have a guest room, a futon, and plenty of floor space. You're welcome to use our kitchen if you like. We also have a very friendly dog and three birds.
