2018 NAGA Battle at the Beach Grappling Championship | Wildwood

NAGA returns to the Jersey shore on Saturday and Sunday, August 4 & 5, 2018 for the NAGA Battle at the Beach Grappling Championship. This is traditionally one of NAGA's largest events of the year. This is a No-Gi and Gi grappling tournament. The tournament will have over 400 No-Gi and Gi grappling divisions. All Expert division winners take home championship belts. Non-expert Children and Teens division winners will be awarded samurai swords, adults take home medals.

Please take note of the days on which Children and Teens/Adults compete, they are different from past years.

All Children (13 & under) divisions will take place on Saturday. All Teen (14-17 years of age) and ***** divisions will take place on Sunday. Please visit the NAGA website for more information on division start times.

Important Tournament Information:

- Saturday, Children (13 & under) must be registered and weighed in by 10:00 AM.
- Sunday, Teens (14-17 years of age) and ***** Women must be registered and weighed in by 10:00 AM.
- Once a competitor accepts their weight and it is entered, the weight can no longer be changed.
- Competing in gi and no-gi is considered two divisions.
- Heel hooks are not allowed in any youth divisions and ***** Novice and Beginner No-Gi divisions.
- ***** competitors must be registered (or checked-in if you registered online) and weighed-in 90 minutes prior to your division's scheduled start time. This time will be available on the NAGA website.

NAGA does not accept mail-in registrations. Competitors will need to either register online (pre-registration or late registration) or register at the event. Credit card and cash are accepted at the event. AmEx and checks are not accepted.

Pre-Registration Price
Register by Friday, July 27, 2018, 5:00 PM EST and pay:
1 Division = $85
$20 for each additional division
Spectators = $10, Children 8 & under are $5 and only available at the door.

Late Online Registration Price
Register 7/28/18 through 8/1/18 (5:00 PM EST) and pay:
1 Division = $105
$20 for each additional division
Spectator = $15, Children 8 & under are $5 and only available at the door.

At Event Registration Price
Register at the event 8/3, 8/4 and 8/5/18 and pay:
1 Division = $125
$20 for each additional division
Spectator = $15, Children 8 & under are $5 and only available at the door.
