Women's Welding 101 with Amanda Barker 9.16.18 | The WorcShop | Sunday, 16. September 2018

Have you wanted to learn to weld, but felt intimidated by the all-too-common bearded or otherwise male-identifying instructor? I am excited to offer this first-ever course for female-identifying folks at the WorcShop for women (transgender, gender flux, androgynous welcomed) who want to learn the basics of MIG welding, as well as some basic fabrication essentials, including how to operate important power and shop tools that will assist students in making their own project (TBD) out of steel.
There is a minimum enrollment of 2 & a max of 6 in order for this class to run.If the class does not meet minimum enrollment 3 days prior it will be canceled.
Students will have the option of transferring their ticket to another class or receiving a provide us with BOTH A CONTACT NUMBER & EMAIL to ensure you are properly notified of course changes.
Turn in at the Blue Hive parking lot (233 Stafford St.) drive to the back of the lot and turn right to go behind the building. There will be a large garage door. The entrance to the WorcShop is the door on the right with the blue awning.
