Tyketalk - Yorkshire Dialect, History and Humour: YFHS History meeting | New Earswick Indoor Bowls Club (next to Hogs Head pub) | Wednesday, 07. August 2019

Please arrive in good time - tea and coffee available from 7pm.
We meet at 7pm for 7.30 on the first Wednesday of every month except January. Entry costs £1 for members and £2 for non-members (refunded when you join).
Our talks for the rest of 2019 are as follows:

7th August: Tyketalk - a mixture of Yorkshire Dialect, History and Humour - Eric Scaife
4th September: The 1840s/1850s maps of William Watson - Andy Sefton
2nd October: Lydia Bridges: Wise woman, witch, or neither? - Claire Brockway
6th November: Durability, efficiency, economy - David Lewis
4th December: TBA
      No Meeting in January

Then from February 2020 we meet at 7 for 7.30pm on the first Wednesday of every month.
